Build in 1719 this wooden theater is tranformed every year into a breathtaking cinema. The best silent film projection possible, a giant screen, terrific acoustics and the charming theater ambience help turn this festival into an unforgettable movie experience.

Oberes Foyer (Upper Lobby)

On the second floor of the Markgrafentheater you will find its Upper Lobby, which is turned into our festival café. The Upper Lobby is also the standard venue for our extensive supporting program.
